Brewing cycles for a batch of Crooked Farmz aerobic compost tea are between 3-4 hours in length, after which we bottle in 1-litre mason jars to be delivered fresh that day either directly to your home or to your local FarmTranz connection point.

The Crooked Farmz compost tea brewery features a custom-designed scalable grid array brewer with a 90-gallon capacity—which won the Professional Innovation category in the 2020 Best in GrowTO urban gardening competition.

For maximum biodiversity in our compost teas we brew using composts from six different techniques: California method thermophilic composting, Johnson-Su, cold compost, leaf mould, vermicompost, and bokashi.
